On October 15th, 2019, artist John Sebelius led an evening of artistic discovery through innovative art collaborations with musicians Martinez Hillard and Chris Luxem, alongside digital artists Adam Johnson and Jeremy Rockwell. This event transformed the historic church into a space of interactive installations, featuring projected visuals of the original stained glass windows complemented by live music. During the evening, Sebelius created a live portrait of Langston Hughes, a former member of the congregation. This memorable event also served to kick off a fundraising effort aimed at restoring the iconic windows.
